A friend of both the Arroyos and the Pinedas, Senator Lito Lapid heroically tried to pin down Michaelangelo Zuce on the source of the money Lilia Pineda had allegedly handed out, but managed to pin down President Arroyo instead.
"You've been mentioning the Pinedas, Jun Dy but you have no proof. What if the money was just given to Baby (Lilia) Pineda? WHAT IF IT CAME FROM MADAM (Pres. Arroyo)?"
Stunned silence in the gallery as stupefied audience adjusts to idea that question could be this stupid.
Then, Ping Lacson with the punch(line): "Isn't it more serious if the money came from Madam?"
Failing to recover from his having knocked himself out, Lapid was last seen by reporters making a quick exit, "visibly blushing".
Now we don't expect fireworks from Senator Lito Lapid, but we do expect the former action star to be lighter on his feet and faster with those counter punches. Was his situation hopeless, afterall? It's not as if he actually said "Madam President."
He could have said he meant Madam Auring, Madam Imelda, Madam Butterfly, Madam X... Madaming Madam dyan, ser!!!

What can you expect from the people who haven't made decent movies in their careers in politics.

What can you expect from the people who haven't made decent movies in their careers in politics? Let me tell you: piece of crap! How can you expect these asses Lito Lapid, Bong Revilla Jr. and Jinggoy Estrada to "save" our country if they themselves contributed greatly to the downfall of the local industry?

Calling out Mother Lily, Robbie Tan, Boss Vic and other Filipino film producers! Please find some work for Rex Cortez, Nino Muhlach and other actors trying to swirl in Philippine politics. Even the smallest of movie roles will be greatly appreciated for these "actors". These will surely contribute for the best our beloved country. PLEASE LET THEM STOP ACTING ON THE STREETS! I know that they are so-so actors on screen. But they are surely much worse on streets acting like intelligent political figures. If there are no movie roles available for them now, please offer them jobs as grips or best boys. The important thing is to get them out of the streets and make them busy with the old school flicks you are still producing.
How can these asses senators create intelligent laws if they themselves can't make intelligent movies. Hey fools, stop acting as senators! All of you are no good actors in the first place! Be better actors first before mendling with more important roles in life! Hell, be better parents first before taking responsibility of our country. You all suck!
Calling out Mother Lily, Robbie Tan, Boss Vic and other Filipino film producers! I will even throw my name in the there. Let us all help save our movie industry so that these so-so actors will learn how to play their roles better in real life. Furthermore, save all of us from this god-forsaken movie called Philippine politics!
(**Oh lord, we badly need new "real" filmmkaers.... wink wink!**)

ACTION STAR LITO LAPID PULLS OF STUNT!
In a very unprecedented action routine, former action star Lito Lapid performed a death defying act in front of a live tv audience. The stunt was reminiscent of Dante Varona's San Juanico Bridge jump. If one can recall, Mr. Varona's jump was near fatal - Lito Lapid's however is something that one may call a NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE. He was seen blushing as he walked out of the Senate floor...and for the first time, he looked exactly like his photograph in his campaign material : ALL WHITE, BUT WITH RED CHEEKS.
